Dr Neal Johnson

Veterinarian B.V.Sc.

Neal grew up in Bomaderry before going to the University of Sydney. He has been a partner in the practice since 1995 and is now the sole owner. Neal is the experienced Surgeon of the team and also loves the Dairy Cattle and Alpaca component of the Practice.
Neal shares home with his wife Bec, their four daughters and one son and also two Whippets, Penny and Cooper.
He started playing football (soccer) with Bomaderry in 1970 and still continues to do so, with occasional overseas trips to the World Masters Games.

Dr Jennifer Manna

Veterinarian B.V.Sc, MACVS (Pharm)

Jenni joined our veterinary practice in 2014, after working 21 years in a small animal breeding practice in Sydney.
Whilst enjoying breeding her own beef cattle and small animal reproduction, other areas of interest are Small Animal Medicine and Surgery.

Dr Jessica Koelmeyer

Veterinarian B.V. Sc (Hons 1)

Jess graduated from the University of Queensland in 2013. After five years working in Mixed Practice in Ulladulla, she moved to Bomaderry Vet. Jess has a special interest in Small Animal Medicine and Equine.
In her spare time she enjoys playing footy and spending time with her horses, dog and cat.

Dr Ellen Parker

Veterinarian B.V.Sc

Ellen graduated from the University of Sydney in 2017. She worked in rural practice in Gloucester for 2 years before making a sea change to the South Coast to join the team in Bomaderry. Ellen has a strong interest in medicine and surgery and enjoys all the challenges of mixed practice. In her spare time she enjoys dancing and hanging out with her cat Francine.

Dr Jackson Conaty

Veterinarian  BVB/DVM

Jackson grew up in Western Sydney and completed his Veterinary Science degree in 2019, graduating from The University of Sydney. After graduating, he joined the team here at Bomaderry Veterinary Hospital. Jackson takes special interest in surgery and small animal medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys playing footy and hanging out with his cat, Flo.

Dr Lewis King

Veterinarian BVB/DVM

Lewis grew up in Singleton in the Hunter Valley before moving to Sydney to complete his studies in Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney. After graduating in 2019 Lewis started working with the team at Bomaderry Veterinary Hospital. Outside of the clinic he can be found surfing, playing soccer and playing with his Aussie Shepherd Angie. Lewis’ special interests within the Veterinary field include Small Animal medicine and Dairy Cattle medicine.

Area of Interest: Small Animal Medicine and Surgery.

Dr Alison Clarke

Veterinarian

Alison graduated from Sydney University Vet School in 1989 and has spent the majority of her career in small animal practices in NSW, VIC and for a brief stint, the UK. She owns one dog, Lucy, a 3 year old Kelpie X whose favourite activity is playing frisbee or chasing a ball at the beach.

Dr Nicky Sheehan

Veterinarian B.V.Sc

Nicky graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2014, joining the team at Bomaderry Vets in March 2015. After going adventuring and working in other clinics, Nic has returned part time.
Nic is interested in farm animal practice and small animal preventative medicine. In her spare time, she can be found on a basketball or netball court, playing in water, or being walked by her two Border Collies.

Tracey Boyd

Veterinary Practice Manager

Tracey started working at the veterinary practice in 2006. In her spare time Tracey loves to spend time with her 2 adorable Miniature Schnauzers Wilson and Frankie.

Taylah Swankie

Receptionist

Taylah is one of our new faces here at Bomaderry Vet Hospital. Taylah is our full-time receptionst and has been with the Practice now since January 2020. Taylah has a dog named Boofie that she likes spending time with and taking him for bushwalks. Her favourite animal are horses as she loves the country.

Stacey Gould

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing)

Stacey completed her studies in Veterinary nursing in 2014 through Yallah TAFE. She started working at Bomaderry Vet Hospital in 2016. Stacey enjoys medical nursing and radiology.
She has 2 dogs, Chase a Silky terrier cross, Olive a Maltese cross, and two cockatiels Bertie and Lenny.

Sarah May

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing)

Sarah first started working at Bomaderry Veterinary Hospital through her Certificate in Veterinary Nursing in 2012. After a few years away travelling she has returned to the clinic and now mostly uses her Nursing knowledge at reception. Her main interests in nursing include pathology, arthritis care and wound management.
Sarah’s dogs Jake and Gizmo are Mini Foxie/Jack Russell brothers who she spends most of her free time with living out at Culburra Beach.

Veronique Reed

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing)

Veronique completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary nursing at Yallah TAFE in 2017. She has recently joined the team at Bomaderry having previously spent most of her time at the Shoalhaven Heads clinic. She has an interest in anaesthesia and loves caring for all patients as if they were her own. Outside of the hospital Veronique enjoys walking her Miniature Dachshund Jeffrey along the beach.

Rhie Stevens

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing)

Rhie has just recently moved to the Shoalhaven area after living on the far South Coast for several years. She completed her Certificate IV in 2011 at Yallah TAFE and has been nursing for 10 years. She enjoys medical and surgical nursing.
Rhie has two dogs, Buddy and Bonnie and spends her weekends at the beach with them.

Narelle Hildebrand

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing)

Narelle completed her studies in Veterinary Nursing in 2017 and then started working int the practice in January 2018. Narelle loves all animals and is passionate about her job role as a veterinary nurse. Her main areas of interest include surgery and wound care. Narelle shares her home with her 3 sons, 3 dogs (Middy, Taco & Pip), 2 Guinea pigs and a Central bearded dragon Sunny. Narelle works full time at our Branch Clinic Curleys Bay at Culburra Beach.

Rebecca Bull

Veterinary Nursing (Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing)

Bec has been a Veterinary Nurse for 23 years after graduating from Richmond TAFE in 1998. She and her husband moved to the Shoalhaven 9 years ago and she has been nursing at Shoalhaven Heads Clinic for 8 years. Bec holds a Certificate III in Captive Animals and has a passion for Wildlife. Bec has a pet Diamond Python and a Maltese Shih Tzu named Billy.
