Dr Neal Johnson

Veterinarian B.V.Sc.

Neal grew up in Bomaderry before going to the University of Sydney. He has been a partner in the practice since 1995 and is now the sole owner. Neal is the experienced Surgeon of the team and loves the Dairy Cattle and Alpaca component of the Practice.
Neal shares a home with his wife Bec, their four daughters and one son. Neal has one whippet and one Italian Greyhound.
He started playing football (soccer) with Bomaderry in 1970 and continues to do so, with occasional overseas trips to the World Masters Games.

Dr Matthew Lisieczko

Veterinarian B.V.Sc., B.Sc.

Matt completed his Bachelor of Science in Canada in 2007, before moving to Australia and graduating from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2012. His interests lie in all mixed animal practice, orthopaedics, and greyhounds.

Dr Erin Eisenhuth

Veterinarian B.V. Biol/B.V.Sc

Erin graduated from Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga in 2023. She enjoys all aspects of surgery and medicine and has a passion for working closely with clients to achieve the best outcomes for their pets. In her spare time, she loves spending time at the beach and exploring new hiking trails.

Dr Ellen Parker

Veterinarian B.V.Sc.

Ellen graduated from the University of Sydney in 2017. She worked in rural practice in Gloucester for 2 years before making a sea change to the South Coast to join the team in Bomaderry. Ellen has a strong interest in medicine and surgery and enjoys all the challenges of regional veterinary practice. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing and hanging out with her cat Francine and her husband.

Dr Jennifer Manna

Veterinarian B.V.Sc, MACVS (Pharm)

Jenni joined our veterinary practice in 2014, after working 21 years in a small animal breeding practice in Sydney. Whilst enjoying breeding her own beef cattle and small animal reproduction, her other areas of interest are small animal medicine and surgery. When not at work Jenni can be found in her garden!

Dr Katherine O’Farrell

Veterinarian B.V.Biol./B.V.Sc.

Katherine graduated from the University of Queensland in 2009. She moved to the Shoalhaven after graduation and has made it her home. Katherine has worked in mixed practice since graduation and enjoys the variety and challenges it brings. Her favourite challenge though is a curly small animal medicine case.  When not at work, Katherine enjoys walks, bike rides and other adventures with her two young boys and husband.

Dr Mark Allison

Veterinarian B.V.Sc.

Mark works at our Shoalhaven Heads branch. His area of interest is small animal medicine. Outside of work Mark enjoys playing squash or tending to the garden.

Dr Tamara Hunt

Veterinarian B.V.Sc.

Tam is the primary veterinarian at our Curley’s Bay practice in Culburra. Her areas of interest are small animal medicine and surgery.

Tracey Boyd

Veterinary Practice Manager

Tracey started working at the veterinary practice in 2006. In her spare time Tracey loves to spend time with her adorable Miniature Schnauzer Frankie.

Natalie Harris

Office Manager & Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing)

With a lifelong passion for the care of animals, Natalie graduated as a Vet Nurse in 2004, joining the Bomaderry Team in 2010. Outside of work Nat enjoys time with her family on the farm, horse riding or hanging with her two gorgeous American Staffies, Arnold & Whiskey.

Tia Williams

Pharmacy & Administration

Tia began her journey with Bomaderry Vets as the weekend “Sunday Girl” from 2016 to 2018. After taking time off to complete her HSC and enjoy a well-earned break, she rejoined the team in July 2021 as a receptionist. Since then, Tia has taken on broader responsibilities, progressing into administration and pharmacy operations. Outside of work, Tia enjoys playing video games on her PC, drawing, and going on long walks and adventures with her fiancé, Kalani. Together, they have two ‘kids’, a DSH named Toque and a DMH named Flynn. Tia is also a qualified Pilates instructor and loves teaching as a refreshing change from her busy admin role.

Ronnie Gaudie

Receptionist

Born and raised locally, Ronnie has dogs, a cat, chooks, cows, a husband and two kids. She has been a receptionist since June 2022, and enjoys the daily challenges of our fast-paced clinic environment.

Tayla Dunn

Receptionist

Tayla is a local girl who has always loved animals, completing her Animal Studies Certificate in high school. Tayla is now a part of our reception team and is looking forward to what the future will bring and hopes to continue to grow her love to help animals. She has a dog named Ivy who she often takes on walks and adventures. When not at work, Tayla enjoys spending time with family and friends, and delighting in her first home with her partner, Callum.

Bridgette Dowson

Triage Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing)

Born and raised in South Africa, Bridgette moved to Australia in 2014 with her family. She qualified as a Vet Nurse in 2017 joining the team at Bomaderry Vet in May 2024. In her spare time, Bridgette loves to spend time with her family exploring beautiful, natural places and has a keen interest in family history research. She also enjoys spending time with all the family furbabies, including a pair of large mixed breed canines – Milo and Dora, a pair of feisty felines – Billy and Leo – and 7 Goldfish.

Ren Martin

RVN, CMT, Hydrotherapist

Ren graduated her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2003 and since then has accomplished several higher achievements within her nursing. Before working for us here at Bomaderry Vets her past career paths have been within specialist referral centres and teaching hospitals. Her most recent venture outside of her nursing is pursuing her passion in Canine rehabilitation. Ren underwent her certifications to become a CMT Practitioner and Hydrotherapist, and now runs our Four Paws Rehab Centre at Bomaderry Vets. She spends time outside of work with her family and her two mini dachshunds.

Narelle Hildebrand

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing)

Narelle joined our team at Bomaderry Veterinary Hospital in 2017 after completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She is most passionate about animal welfare, canine behaviour, and preventative health care. In her spare time Narelle loves to hang out with her family and her menagerie of pets.

Stacey Thompson

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing)

Stacey completed her studies in Veterinary Nursing in 2014 through Yallah TAFE. She started working at Bomaderry Veterinary Hospital in 2016. Stacey enjoys medical nursing and radiology. She has 3 dogs, Chase a Silky Terrier cross, Olive a Maltese cross, Skipper a Smooth Fox Terrier, as well as two cockatiels Bertie and Lenny.

Rhie Stevens

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing)

Rhie completed her Certificate IV in 2011 at Yallah TAFE and has been nursing for over 10 years. She moved to the Shoalhaven area in 2020 with her husband, children and has three dogs, Buddy, Bonnie, and Bruce. Rhie enjoys medical and surgical nursing. In her spare time, she is at the beach or travelling down the coast with her family.

Matilda Pritchett

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing)

Matilda has been working at Bomaderry Vets since 2020, alternating between reception and nursing duties. She has recently completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing as of December 2023. Her favourite parts of nursing are pathology and taking care of medical patients. Matilda’s hobbies outside of work include spending time with her family and friends and walking her dog Moo Moo.

Bree Todd-Wilson

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing)

Bree is one of our receptionists and veterinary nurses. She completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in June 2023 and has been working here since November 2021. She enjoys medical nursing and loves spending time with her pets: Rose-Bud the Spoodle, Lucy the Shih Tzu and Miette, the Ragdoll cat.

Shanelle Thomason

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing)

Shanelle has been in the Veterinary Industry since 2018, completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2020. She joined the team at Bomaderry Veterinary Hospital in 2020. Shanelle has an interest in most aspects of nursing, but medical nursing and large animal nursing is what she most enjoys. On her days off, she enjoys spending time with her pets who include a Bull Terrier x Staffy named Junior, two Miniature Goats named Brownie and Marshmallow, a Miniature Pony named Shiraz, Scottish Highland Cow named Penelope and her thoroughbred horses.

Taron Wheeler

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing)

Taron has been in the animal industry since she was 16 years old. Most of her work has been in the equine industry, working as an equine vet nurse as well as grooming for professional show jumpers and working for a thoroughbred spelling and breeding stud. She has also worked in the dairy industry. Taron has a special interest in large animal medicine and breeding. She has been doing small animal nursing since 2021 and joined the Bomaderry Vet team in 2022 where she thoroughly enjoys learning about small animal medicine and caring for our smaller friends. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her 3-year-old daughter riding horses together or spending time with family.

Veronique Reed

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing)

Veronique completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at Yallah TAFE in 2017. She joined our Bomaderry Team in 2018. She has an interest in anaesthesia and loves caring for all patients as if they were her own. Outside of the hospital she enjoys camping with her young family and spending time with her Miniature Dachshund Jeffrey.

Madalyn Owen

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing)

Maddy is one of our newly qualified Vet Nurses, completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2024. She started working at Bomaderry Vet Hospital in 2022. While at work Maddy enjoys caring for our regular greyhounds who are undergoing rehabilitation from Orthopaedic surgery. When she isn’t keeping our hospital nice and tidy, she is well known as our star barista! Maddy has a beautiful pup named Snowi, who she spends most of her time outside of work with. She also enjoys going on adventures to the beach and playing representative basketball!

Olivia Dunbier

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing)

Olivia is one of our qualified veterinary nurses, having completed her Certificate in Veterinary Nursing in 2024. She has a strong interest in both large and small animal medicine. Outside of work, Olivia enjoys spending time with her Off-the-Track Thoroughbred horse, Nova, or going for relaxing walks along the beach.

Emma Daly

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing)

Emma is a qualified veterinary nurse, having completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2024. She has a keen interest in anaesthesia and medical nursing, where her passion truly shines. Outside of work, Emma enjoys travelling along the coast and spending time with her beloved Clydesdale x Welsh Mountain pony, Theo.

Megan is one of our fantastic kennel hands who started at Bomaderry Vets in 2022. She is an aspiring Veterinary Nurse, looking to begin her studies TAFE this year! Outside of work she enjoys spending time on the family farm.

Karmani Cocris

Karmani is one of our amazing kennel hands, who joined us in 2024. She dreams of one day becoming a veterinarian! Kamarni has always had a passion for animals and animal care and has an abundance of pets at home!
